Stainless steel is the standard in commercial kitchens for good reason: it's hygienic, heat-resistant, and effectively indestructible under daily use. Product Description

Stainless steel countertops are fabricated by bending and welding sheet steel over a plywood substrate. Common gauges are 14 to 16 — heavier gauges feel more substantial and resist denting better. Finishes range from a brushed matte (most common, hides fingerprints and small scratches) to a polished mirror (high-impact but shows everything).

Care: warm water and mild detergent, or a stainless-steel-specific cleaner for a streak-free finish. Hot pots can go directly on the surface. Over time, light scratches accumulate and create a softened patina — most owners come to appreciate it. Pairs naturally with flat-panel cabinets in an industrial or contemporary kitchen.
